    Wow, you are so right about everything in this article… at least for me!  I know that once I reached my 50’s things certainly changed.  I totally agree that age, stress levels, diet, exercise and mental health all work together for either good – or bad!  I really appreciate how you mentioned several great way of eating plans (such as Mediterranean, DASH and Ornish) in your article as I believe there is no “one size fits all” in anything.  That being said, these way of eating plans all focus on increasing the intake of whole foods and getting rid of processed and unhealthy foods – which means they are all a “win-win” in my book.

    Although I vaguely remember what BAT is and its function since my anatomy and physiology days were so long ago, I have to say I wish we had more of that and less of the other fat! Ha!!
